Simeon
Christianity’s Unsung Hero
When Yeshua (Jesus) was twelve, he walked to Jerusalem with his parents. As a Jewish
boy, he entered the Second Temple and spoke with the elders there. The elders were
amazed at the depth of His understanding of the Tanakh- Even so, they could not have
predicted how this young man would challenge their beliefs and change the world for
generations.
Around the same time, another young Jewish boy, born far away, also deeply yearned to
understand his Jewish faith's scriptures and God. This boy, Simeon, never met Yeshua in
person but became acquainted with Yeshua's teachings through disciples who traveled,
carrying His teachings to anyone who would listen. Subsequently, Simeon was
responsible for converting a thousand-year old pagan empire. These converts were among
the first generation of The Way, followers of Yeshua.
M. S. Thomas is perpetually curious, values truth highly, and has a vivid imagination that
answers questions when facts are unavailable. Thomas lives in Texas but loves to travel
and learn about different places and the people who inhabit them, This book reflects a
personal commitment to loving God, self, and others - Everybody Always!
Carole Anne Sarah's background in Work plus inherited storytelling genes brings
livable (and hateable) characters and lively adventure to an obscure Story. Sarah greets
every morning saying, "Good morning, God. This is Carole Anne reporting for duty."
She writes devotion and leads a life group at her church. She has been a content writer,
ghost writer, and copy editor, but this book is deeply personal. Her favorite line is in
chapter 19, "It is so much easier to love myself when I know how much God loves me."
